WestWind has extensive experience as a small business prime contractor managing task-driven IDIQ rapid response programs.
These contracts have required a broad range of management and technical services which include program planning and management; production and manufacturing; kitting and warehousing; technical evaluation, systems engineering, analysis and design; first article testing, sub-system and system level testing; systems integration and qualification testing; as well as purchasing, receiving, issuing, packaging, handling, storing and transportation of hardware including GFE.
Since 1998, WestWind has successfully delivered over 410 task orders and projects for US Army, serving 11 different government activities, with a total contract value exceeding $425M. WestWind has successfully performed system and design engineering, technical writing, manufacturing, kitting and aircraft modifications for a variety of platforms including the MRAP; UH-60 Blackhawk; CH-47 Chinook; AH-64 Apache; OH-58D Kiowa Warrior and other platforms to include the CMWS installation shown.
In addition to extensive design and development experience, WestWind has performed Build to Print (BTP) programs for multiple customers. These contracts range in size from the production of low rate quantities of wire harnesses and metal fabrication components to the CH-47F Transportable Flight Proficiency Simulator (TFPS).
