Business Systems Analyst (02-2012): As a member of the Business Systems team, this self-motivated candidate will support all departments via application development, support, configuration and integration. Experience working with ERP systems is a must. Responsibilities include: Gathering business and system requirements from various stakeholders throughout the organization. Designing, coding, testing and analyzing software programs and applications. Creating and maintaining SQL triggers and stored procedures in a MS-SQL environment. Researching, designing, documenting and modifying software specifications throughout the production lifecycle. Analyzing and amending software errors in a timely and accurate fashion and submitting status reports as required. Providing end-user support and troubleshooting. Overtime hours may be required to meet project deadlines. Five years of software and development experience required. Three years of hands on programming experience in MS-SQL database and data driven applications is strongly preferred. Manufacturing industry experience is a plus. College degree in computer science, MIS or related field required. Skills Required:

SUMMARY: Responsibilities will include direct supervision of personnel and management of CNC support functions for the CNC machine shop. Responsibilities include supervision of CNC Programmers/Manufacturing Technicians and establishing CNC programming standards. Expectations include working on the shop floor in close proximity to the areas assigned. Employs lean manufacturing concepts. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Manages CNC Programming functions and personnel throughout the organization for CNC mills and lathes. The department is responsible for the following functions:
- Creates and maintains current CNC programs for all mills and lathes.
- Selects appropriate fixturing and/or designs new fixturing when necessary for CNC machining.
- Creates and maintains standardized CNC set up sheets which are easily understood on the shop floor and facilitate short set ups.
- Establishes standards for CNC programming throughout the organization.
- Configures CNC machine tools (e.g. posts, dedicated tooling, grid plates, etc.) so as to reduce set up times, maximize utilization and ensure efficient production.
- Establishes programming standards.
- Ensures all CNC programs are maintained, current and are appropriately backed up on the network.
- Determine manufacturing methods for new parts, considering existing equipment or requesting new equipment if necessary.
- Improve current methods by studying current usage of manpower, machines, costs, time work place, material handling, work flow, part design and types of manufactured parts.
- Establish goals, measure results, and make changes, if necessary, to achieve goals.
- Manages the tool crib, authorized tooling (e.g. drills, tap, inserts, tool holders, etc)
Must have the ability to use the computer to create programming necessary to produce machined parts as required. Advanced skills with SurfCam is preferred. Must also have a demonstrated ability to set up and operate CNC machining equipment. The individual in the position may be required to operate such equipment as necessary to prove out programs, set up and/or prove new technologies. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in machine technology with emphasis in NC/CNC programming or three to four years related experience in machining environment and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. SKILL REQUIREMENT: Work involves varying degrees of precision. Must be able to use hand tools, effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to stand, walk, climb and sit. Must have full use of hands to operate metal fabrication tools and equipment, computer keyboards and mouse. May occasionally be required to lift up to 50 pounds. SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must be a US citizen and hold or be capable of obtaining a SECRET Security Clearance.
SUMMARY •Performs welding dictated by drawing requirements. •Plans and produces metal forms, fixtures and clamps. •GMAW(MIG) and GTAW(TIG) welding experience required •Regulates equipment as necessary for the work performed. •Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded. Sets up, assembles, and tacks weld parts. •Uses burning equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut material to size and shape. •Operates with minimal supervision. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Must have a high school or GED equivalent education preferred. Typical minimum experience: 2-5 years. Must either have AWS D17.1 or be readily certifiable.

Contracts Manager: (Huntsville: 01-2012) Sr. Contracting position, including full range of contract award and management, plus supervisory responsibility. Minimum of 10 years experience in a postiion of responsibility, working directly with Government contracts. Excellent working knowledge of FAR and DFARS required. Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts of all types and to manage contracts from award through closure. Ability to lead RFP proposal teams, from a strong experience base in preparing competitive and non-competitive proposals. Will manage Contracts, Proposals and Purchasing areas.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor degree desired. Minimum of ten years combined experience in contract award and management knowledge with experience in a supervisory capacity. Sound understanding of FAR and DFARs. Proven ability in negotiations of complex contracts of all types.Must have experience in Finesse MRP system. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Excellent computer skills with emphasis on Excel and Microsoft Word.
